Details

When I'm composing mail I can do everything with keyboard shortcuts except
attaching files, where I have to klick the Attach-Button. There should be a
shortcut for that.

It's possible to trigger File->Attach File, isn't it?
(WFM, current CVS, Linux, navigating with by hitting Alt+F F)

I agree with Daniel Küstner, it would be good if, when the focus is on the 
attachment box (see bug 205666), pressing Space or Return or Alt-A 
(implementor's choice!) would bring up the Attach Files selector dialog.

I think a shortcut from the composer window to bring in the attachment window would help a lot, as most of other actions can be done by keyboard.
Sorry, should have been more explicit: a shortcut as CTRL+something.
