The documentation for the Bug.search call states "Unless otherwise specified in the description of a parameter, bugs are returned if they match exactly the criteria you specify in these parameters" however there are a lot of fields that are not matched this way that have no such specification in their description.

e.g. the user fields use "anywordssubstr" but none of them mention this.

https://bugzilla.readthedocs.io/en/latest/api/core/v1/bug.html#rest-search-bugs

FWIW the search has worked the way it does for at least 6 years and the doc is wrong for all API end points.

This was raised at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1740252
