Details
In Fennec, you can go to about:support and see what version of the webcompat SAO you have installed -- this is useful to verify updates are working, etc.
It seems like that doesn't happen for an Android component (which doesn't surprise me), so for Firefox Preview, it's impossible to know if the webcompat SAO component is installed or at what version.

The System Addons shipped via android-components now correctly show up on about:support under the Add-ons section, so this is a worksforme nowadays.
