User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/78.0.3904.70 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

The Thunderbird window is maximized.

Actual results:

It's impossible to see Windows auto-hiding taskbar/status-bar when the cursor is moved down onto it.

Expected results:

It should not do prevent Windows auto-hiding taskbar/status-bar from emerging when the cursor is moved down onto it.

I have recently noticed auto-hide issues. At least in my case it is not caused by Thunderbird.

The workaround I've found is kill explorer.exe using task manager, and restart explorer.exe

Solved, and works as it should, after the latest Windows updates KB4522355 and KB4522741. I don't know which one did the trick but obviously there was something wrong in the OS.

Thanks for letting us know, I'll close the bug.
