Closed Bug 1591530 Opened 5 years ago Closed 5 years ago

I've just upgraded to Firefox 70.0 (64-bit) for Windows 7, and I can no longer log in to YouTube. Pressing "Return" or the "Next" button does not work.

Hi Tom,

This issue is already being investigated by the developers. Meanwhile, I believe you can fix this by following the instructions depicted here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/some-pages-or-page-elements-fail-load-after-updating and then doing a refresh: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

If you want more details, you can see the developments made on bugs 1591374 and 1591547.

Regards, Flor.

Florencia, many thanks! Been using Chrome (could use "Comodo IceDragon", but using that for JavaScript programming) - makes me appreciate Firefox. Various little things are easier to do in Firefox, and it's much less obstrusive - you don't feel like you're using a browser browsing the web, just browsing the web!

You're welcome, glad this could help you :)

Florencia, buttons are back to normal now! :D

Florencia, setting "dom.storage.next_gen" to false is what worked!
