Details
Mozilla M10 is running on Linux RedHat 6.0, but displaying on a black & white only Sun, running as an Xterm. (Build ID: 1999100808) Text that would display in NS4.7 as black text on white show in M10 as white text on black. Pictures are not affected. Also, menus show up as white on black, but disabled menu items are black on black. When looking at the file/edit/view menus, the icons for the back/forward/reload buttons are drawn in front of the menu. Likely this would also show up on a Linux box using the Monochrome X server (nb Gnome and KDE don't work at all, I'm using fvwm.)

I will take a look at this after beta (or before if I get the time).

I've taken a look at Mozilla on an xterm. It seems to run OK. The Xterm I have here has a white background and black foreground. Are you still seeing these problems? A screenshot of what running on my xterm looks like is at: http://www.mozillazine.org/xul/mono.gif

the inverse is probably due to our skin being different. the drawing in front of the menus has been fixed.
