Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 4.0)
BuildID: 2002061104
I don't know, whether there is a correlation to what happened on my pc with
Mozilla. There for, I will explain it:
1. I installed Mozilla 1.1 (build 2002061104) - the English version -
on my pc.
2. Later I've found a German version (Build 20020530) and installed
it over the English version. I didn't care about the different
builds of Mozilla.
3. Then I found some behaviour of Mozilla, that seemed not ok for me,
so I mailed bugzilla-reports to You (Bug # 157690 and # 158271).
But my Mozilla worked.
4. Yesterday I visited a site, that offered downloads (http://web.de).
I choosed one and then the Mozilla window popped down (closed).
Since then Mozilla needs always minutes until it is loaded.
5. Today I choosed to reinstall Mozilla and install the English
version again.
6. I did it twice. The first time, I only reinstalled Mozilla and
installed it new. After that I started Mozilla, but there is the
same behaviour. But additional there is now an error message on the
foot of the window (please see below at "actual results").
7. I reinstalled Mozilla again. Now I deleted the directory
"Programme\mozilla.org" too. Then I installed Mozilla again.
But even then I noticed the same behaviour. Mozilla needs a lot of
minutes to start on my pc. And the process needs about 99% of cpu
time.
By the way, I loaded a skin, that was activated (the skin calls "sky pilot").
This skin was active even after reinstalling Mozilla.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I don't know, whether You are able to reproduce the behaviour.
2.
3.
Actual Results: After starting Mozilla, the program needs minutes to start. On
the side foot there is a message: "<key id="key_irc" key="&ircCmd.commandkey;"
command="Tasks:IRC" modifiers="accel"/>

For a 'clean' install of mozilla you may want to delete user files(profile).
Also, here is stored the custom skin. The location of the profile is depending
on the operating system, i do not know where is on Win NT, but is easy to find

Yes, try with a new profile.. Seems like your XUL fastload file is corrupted.
If a new profile fixes this, please mark this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!

The 'XUL fastload file' is called XUL.mfl, and is stored in your
profile-directory. Try deleting that first (it will be rebuild automatically).

I've found the file "XUL.mfl". But it isn't located in my profile area. It's
in "Programme\Netscape\Users50\paul". I deleted it, but it didn't work.
Meanwhile I've found the Mozilla profile area. There was one file in this
directory: "registry.dat". I deinstalled Mozilla, then I deleted the Mozilla
profile directory as well as the "mozilla.org" directory, and then installed
Mozilla once more.
After installing and on the first start of the program there came a message box
about "Confirm Migration": "You are about to create a Mozilla profile based on
your Netscape 4 profile". There were two options, "convert profile" and "manage
profiles". I decided to choose the first (default) option and converted the
existing Netscape 4 profile.
After that my Mozilla loads fast again. The problem seems to be eliminated.
Thank You for Your quick help!
I will set the status of this bug report to "WORKSFORME" (as You wrote).
