159341 - Flash/Quicktime (possibly all plug-in) objects flicker on pages

Possibly only a problem on the G4 iMac but I've had this problem ever since very
early builds of Chimera. Now using 0.4 and still hasn't been corrected. When I
go to sites that contain a flash object or quicktime movie the object will
flicker. This becomes even worse on sites that have multiple objects running at
the same time. (e.g. www.shockwave.com  or  www.hoyts.com.au)

Plug-in content does appear to flicker while the page is loading and reflow is
taking place, but once everything's loaded it WorksForMe using Chimera/20020724.

That's odd, it shouldn't flicker at all under OSX. Can you give some more
specifics about your machine, graphics hardware and OS please?

My machine is the new G4 iMac (not the new 17" widescreen) with a G4 800, and 
GeForce 2 MX graphics card. I'm running Mac OS X 10.1.5. On www.hoyts.com.au the 
menu applet on the left doesn't appear at all when the pages loads, but the buttons can 
be made to be shown if you pass the mouse over them. The applet on the right (giving 
movie information) never shows properly at all. On the majority of sites, the applets don't 
show correctly unless objects within them are constantly moving. If the flash movie stays 
still for a while, it seems to get lost.
