I could not find a DUP on this, so I'm filing it... There is no way to Cancel from Print Preview. Usually (in Word, for instance) pressing ESC from Preview brings my document in Normal view. My current workaround: use system menu and Close the Preview screen (Alt+F4 does not work, even shown next to Close). My regular view browser page appears back. It is not intuitive for an user how to get out from Preview. Rod's comments: I think there is already a bug about the Alt-F4 issue, but you sould be able to click on the "Close" btn to exit PP, that seems intuitive enough for me. For less intuitive is click on the "X" for the window.

"close" and <esc> (in FF) work just fine (may be a dup of a fixed bug)
