(Keywords: regression)
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0
Steps to reproduce:
When my package manage updates Firefox, any active page I focus/reload will show the restartrequired page (which is great). There is however a minor nitpick.
I immediately quit and restart Firefox as requested and when my session with multiple Firefox windows restarts, everything is fine except the tab where the restartrequired was shown, which is now a blank page (instead of the original URL)
Actual results:
The tab that showed restartrequired will be replaced by an empty tab when the session restores
Expected results:
The tab that showed restartrequired should revert to the original URL of the website I was visiting, before it was replaced

Confirmed, this just happened to me when I restarted from Nightly 75.0a1 to Nightly 76.0a1 2020-03-25. This even happens to pinned tabs.

Is this a regression?

I guess this has been broken ever since bug 1366808 implement it.
