Ben: I am not able to crash just by loading
Is that all you needed to do to crash?

Or is there a link contained in the page somewhere that I have
to click on?

Thanks -

and will be shut down.

If the problem persists, contact the program vendor

Ben, looks like our external repeater had a hiccup and we lost connection. I've
restarted the server, you should be able to retreive that TB number now.

Ben: thank you for testing this so thoroughly!
Tom: thanks for looking up all these Talkback stacks!

Reassigning this one to Browser-General for now. This doesn't
look like a JS Engine problem to me, since every stack trace
we've had on this is completely different from all the others.

Like Tom, I am unable to crash on this site no matter what I do.

1. From what I read above, you say you can duplicate this on two
different machines - one WinNT, the other Win98; is that correct?

2. In Edit > Preferences > Debug,, do you have the box for
"Show JavaScript strict warnings" checked by any chance?

3. I'm wondering if it's somehow due to a corrupted profile.
Could you try launching Mozilla from a console like this:

       [(path to Mozilla)] ./mozilla -profilemanager

to make the Profile Manager come up (if it doesn't automatically).
Once it comes up, choose "Create New Profile" and see if that helps.

Thanks -

sorry this has taken so long. yes, a new profile works-for-me

now I just need to figure out how to migrate everything to a new profile :(

especially all those passwords I don't "know" but mozilla does

I had to retrun to the old profile because I needed the bugzilla
password to post this.
