Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows 95)
BuildID: 2002053012

First, be aware that this system is on a T1 line over a network, using Socks.

At first installation, and for a few weeks, everything works fine. Now, upon
startup of Mozilla, it take several minutes to load the start page. Even
Google takes a full minute or two to load. Eventually, Mozilla fails to
respond at all. I have experienced this same problem with Netscape 6.x. IE
works ok at the same time and URL.

The only way I have found to make this problem go away is to totally uninstall,
then reinstall after a day or two.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install Mozilla or Netscape 6.x (4.x is fine)
2.Use it for a few weeks
3.Eventually when you start Mozilla, the problem will be present

Actual Results: Frustration! Pages take several minutes to load, then Mozilla
stops working.

Expected Results: Load pages in very short time

I have tried clearing all cache and cookies, etc, to no avail.
Reporter: please remove mozilla1.0 and install a recent nightly build.

If that fixes your problem, resolve this bug as WFM, if not, try with a new
profile. In either case, report back here :)

Roger Davis: no mozilla developer has been able to reproduce your bug, so I am
marking this bug WORKSFORME. If this continues to occur, please try a new
version of mozilla such as 1.2a. Also, please make sure that you are not
sharing a profile between Mozilla and Netscape 6 or 7. If this problem
continues to occur, please re-open this bug. Thank you.
