Hi, when I log onto my .mac account, and try to make a custom iCard it does not
show my picture files on the iDisk I have.
Neither does OmniWeb.
However, IE 5.2.1 will show them. Perhpas it's a bug in your system yet?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. You'll need a .mac account (or you can use an old iTools as a "trial account
to attempt to reproduce it)
2. Go to mac.com and log in.
3. Click for iCards
4. Click to create a custom card
5. you'll need a jpg in your iDisk pictures folder that ends with the .jpg
extension.
6. try to find the picture in the iCards page. It shows nothing.
7. Do it in IE 5.2.1 and it shows up. (odd...i'd MUCH rather use Mozilla!)
Actual Results: No files shown in my iDisk Pictures folder for selecting from
the iCards page.
Expected Results: shown me folders and files availible
Pfft, i know nothing about programming! What i do know is the OS X 10.1.5 uses
a WebDAV to connect the iDisk. God alone knows what it does to pull them up
from the iDisk for the iCards page. I suspect showing source code might reveal
something but it's all gobblygook to me.
Best of luck!
Appears to be a Tech Evangelism bug; looks like those guys are still trying to
use Nav 4 DOM methods in Moz.

(Not to mention their server is sending CSS files as "application/x-pointplus".
What's up with that?)

Hello,
I opened the JavaScript Console and i had:
1) when I connect to www.mac.com I have the warning:
Warning: The stylesheet http://www.mac.com/i/ma/1/waqua.css was loaded as CSS
even though its MIME type, "application/x-pointplus", is not "text/css".
But everything is shown correctly. (I have this warning everytime I request a
www.mac.com webpage.)
2) when I ask for the picture list i got the error:
Error: theDocument.ids has no properties
Source File:
http://www.mac.com/WebObjects/iCards.woa/wa/personalPictures?smn=1&aff=consumer&cty=US&lang=en&identifier=x6acO8lDrhML6XXc

I hope this little log will help you :-)

Due to Safari, Apple has updated most of their web pages for DOM compliance.
Could a .Mac account holder please test iCards to see if iDisk pictures work now?

Using Mozilla 1.3a ----no luckChimera .6---- no luckSafari .... no luck (ooh, I'm gonna whine at Apple now!)IE is still the only browser that works. From the .mac help:There is a known issue with Safari Beta which prevents users from being able to create custom iCards using Safari Beta. If you select the "Create Your Own" button you will be taken to the Create Your Own iCard page, however, the images in your iDisk will not appear in the page. The only workaround is to use a web browser that is supported with iCards such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.2 for creating custom iCards. :rolls eyes:Ok they're aware. Hopefully they'll fix it for their OWN browser and it'll fix it for them all.Kirk
