Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. go to a web-site that for which I have multiple logins (due to multiple functions available on the site)
  2. I refused to use the e-mail/password lockwise suggested
  3. entered my password
  4. pressed login and got refused

Actual results:

lockwise fills a honey-pot text input field (css display:none) with the e-mail address I decided not to use

Expected results:

lockwise, should not have interfered with my filling of the form after I did not choose its suggestion

Component: Untriaged → Form Autofill
Product: Firefox → Toolkit

At what step did Firefox/Lockwise fill in the honey-pot text input field? One shouldn't have been autofilled if there are more than one matching login. Did you choose an entry in the autocomplete dropdown? If so, which dropdown (what was the text in the grey bottom footer)? Can you attach debug logs please?

Ralf, if you can clarify some of the steps that you took we can investigate. Until then there's nothing we can do here. Feel free to re-open if this reproduces again.
