The request is to show a/the whatsnew page to beta users coming from a previous release of beta to the next major release, in this case 72.0, happening in RC week.

The Websites team will re-purpose the content, verbatim, from the https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/70.0/whatsnew/ (lang file /firefox/whatsnew_70.lang)

The URL for WNP 70 beta is: https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/70.0beta/whatsnew/

The locales should match those of the rapid release WNP, which are as follows:

To make sure I understand the request: this should be shown when updating to any 72.0 beta build, from 71.0beta or earlier, starting in a couple of weeks, is that right?

This page that pitches Monitor is only fully localized in English, French, and German. Other locales will fall back to the default whatsnew page that promotes Firefox for mobile.

I believe this is right but Eric, can you confirm? We should have until Monday's gtb on dec 2nd to do this if that's the case.

Julien - sorry for not responding sooner. We'll want double check for any additions - the list will either remain the same, possibly but unlikely increase.

Which reminds me that I need to file that bug for beta 73 . . .
