I am getting really really annoyed about the GUI-thread locking completely when
the servers I try to connect to (or the servers serving the images) are slow or
unresponsive.

I would like to use other windows in the same instance of mozilla, or start
other windows, or just watch the page (if i used another viewport and goes back
again, the window is un-rendered until the GUI-thread starts again..) at the
same time as the client is loading content.
