Steps to reproduce:

1. Install attached extension.
2. Try to open file (Floating Action Button +)

Actual results:

Popup is closed when system file selector appear, file choosing is not works anymore.

Expected results:

As is was: popup remain visible during file choosing, able to add file to extension.

Hello,

I have managed to reproduce the issue based on the provided STR on the latest Nightly (72.0a1/20191125214644), Beta (71.0b12/20191121155457) and Release (70.0.1/20191030021342) under Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and MacOS Catalina 10.15.

As mentioned in the bug report, the add-on pop-up closes when the file selector window appears and after selecting a file, it is not added to the extension.
