Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.1a) Gecko/20020614 BuildID: 20020614 On Suns there is this compose-key. When you want to produce an ö (ouml) you can type 'compose " o'. I always get "ö instead of ö (i.e. the modifier-character is not suppressed). This happens in all edit fields in Mozilla such as the URL bar and form fields (like the one I'm currently typing into). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Mozilla on Solaris 2. go to URL bar 3. Type compose+"+o Actual Results: "ö Expected Results: ö I am using: Sparc-Solaris-5.8, Mozilla 1.1a Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.1a) Gecko/20020614. This ALSO happens in: Netscape 6.2.3 This does NOT happen in: Netscape 4.7* for Solaris, Mozilla 0.9.8 on a remote Linux.
