User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0

Steps to reproduce:

Hi. I am a WeTransfer regular user.
I try to transfer some file from the web, so I use the form.
But in the form is not more available the "send a message to" blank space.

Actual results:

Is not possible to transfer files anymore.

Expected results:

A normal form should be there. In other browsers (Crhome, Safari) there is no problem. In attachment, a screenshot with all three browser, you can see the missing space in the form.

The wetransfer.com site‘s interface work for me in Fx70.0.1 x86 & Fx71.0 x64 on Win10.

The wetransfer.com site‘s interface work for me in Fx70.0.1 x86 & Fx71.0 x64 on Win10.

I am using the new Catalina iOs for Mac.

Hi,

I was unable to reproduce this issue on Mac OS X 10.15, with Firefox Nightly 72.0a1 (2019-12-02) nor with Firefox release 70.0.1. But maybe you can provide me with a bit more info.

Does this issue occur with a fresh profile? you can find the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager

Can you please download Firefox Nightly from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and retest the problem and see if the issue still occurs there as well?

Thanks in advance, Flor.

Hi,
so I tried Firefox Nightly, and everything seems to be ok, back to normal. Then I tried also with my Firefox, but this time opening a new window as "anonymous", and it worked fine too. Then, back to my profile, weTransfer is not working again.
So, is my profile on Firefox? Or what?
I know is not a big issue, but I am beginning to be curious.

Thank you

Gianluca

Hi Gianluca,

I'm very sorry for the delay in answering you. Yes, this is definitely an issue caused by your profile. If you want to spot exactly what is causing this, just to satisfy your curiosity, you may try things like try running Firefox in safe mode (https://www.top-password.com/blog/5-simple-ways-to-start-firefox-in-safe-mode/) or disabling your addons one by one (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-or-remove-add-ons) until you spot the one that caused the problem. Meanwhile, since this is a profile-related problem, I'll close the bug as works for me.

Thanks for your answer, Flor.
