Steps to reproduce:

Start Up Thunderbird with lightning extension enabled.
Add a calendar ics-file from a shared network drive.

Actual results:

Startup times of Thunderbird are significantly longer
The UI is very sluggish. To the point where ist becomes unusable.
Disabling the lightening extension solves the issue.

Expected results:

Normal responsive UI

You're on version 60 because we haven't updated everyone to 68, but version 60 is no longer supported. Please post your results with using version 68 from https://getthunderbird.com/
