Users of the admin panel can't search through resources in the tags view. Regression was introduced by the latest changes related to the migration from Python 2 to Python 3.
During the discussion at IRC, the team has decided to abandon the support of glob patterns and replace them with the simple "contains" search.

Additionally, It's important to understand why the current test-suite wasn't able to catch this regression and implement new tests to avoid such regressions in the future.

:flod and :mathjazz -> Could you give this bug more context from the PM/user perspective?

We only need to be able to search for resources in the Tags manager. For that, a "contains" search is more than enough, and using asterisks – as we did before – was just a necessary evil (didn't ask for it, that's how it worked from the beginning).

We don't have thousands of files, so searching for parts of the filename is always sufficient to limit the number of results and pick the file you want.

Additionally, searching for resources in the localization dashboard or the resource menu in the translate page also uses the simple "contains" search.
