User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0
Steps to reproduce:
Type any string into the search bar.
Crtl + A to select the entire string.
Continue to hold Crtl.
Press Backspace.
Actual results:
The string remains in the search bar and the cursor active position is placed in the zeroth position(? all the way to left).
Expected results:
String should be deleted entirely or it should follow the standard Crtl + Backspace pattern of deleting to the first punctuation mark. It just seems inconsistent.
The hotkey delete the selected text in Windows's Notepad, but does not delete in IE 11, so this may be work as design.

I think it should remove everything, Chrome and Edge are acting the same.
In Windows Explorer it does nothing.
We should also check the behaviors on Mac and Linux against other browsers.

This is the same as bug 1559083 AFAICT. Someone else recently reported it in a different bug, and I'll mark that one as a dupe too.
