Works for me. Can you reproduce the issue if you enter about:profiles into the address bar, create a new profile, then click the Launch profile in new browser button and retry there?

The test was done on new fresh profile. For second test iteration I have taken all the content out of iframe (from jsfiddle) and tested on local file, pure HTML. Still the same. Adding video show in attachments. There is another scenario, when this is not observed on the same profile. I did not find out - what is the critical difference in HTML, but at least most simple HTML scenario in test case - the bug is visible:
<html>
<head>
<style type="text/css">
input{height:5px;}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<input type="text">
</body>
</html>
Anyway, this must be only my instance related, I will try with v71, which popped up just today, I will upgrade it as soon as it appears on ubuntu's repo.
Test case on new profile, simple HTML
<html>
<head>
<style type="text/css">
input{height:5px;}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<input type="text">
</body>
</html>

I can repro on Linux, but we're basically obeying the GTK theme...
If you want to not be subject at your system's styling, you can set -moz-apperance: none and then it'll work.
