Steps to reproduce:
Send an email via IMAP on Microsoft Outlook email account
Actual results:
Message gets sent once (nobody has complained about receiving it twice) but it appears in the Sent Items folder twice
Attached is troubleshooting information dump. It a record of my settings in place but no identifiable information.
Expected results:
Only one entry in the sent items folder should be visible per email.

This is not a new thing, it's happened for as long as I can remember but I have not been in a position to report it until now unfortunately. It's a minor annoyance more than an application crashing issue but I'd appreciate it being dealt with if possible.

That's expected since Outlook saves a copy of the sent messages, see bug 1504329 comment #1 (quote):
Is there an "Outlook" configuration option to keep sent mail in the folder? TB will also store the sent message. Please check in your account settings under "Copies & Folders".
