Steps to reproduce:
I'm using Arch with i3-gaps and compton. My optimus switching mechanism is optimus-manager. I had no issues with bumblebee. This only happens when I'm using the intel gpu. Using the i915 driver. Using Firefox Developer Edition.
Tried to fullscreen video.
Actual results:
Video froze.
Expected results:
Whenever I try to fullscreen any video(from youtube or a twitch stream), the display bugs out and freezes. The audio keeps going but the video stream is stuck, sometimes even mid-fullscreen transition. Problem doesn't persist on chromium. This also happens only when I'm using the intel GPU on my laptop. Switching to nvidia and the playback works fine. I'm also experiencing weird random gpu hangs where my whole screen would freeze for 5-10 seconds whenever firefox is open. I can't pinpoint the exact steps to reproduce this freeze. This could basically be 'a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.', from the i915 driver in dmesg.

I tried to replicate the issue using ubuntu 18.04 64bit and i was able to watch youtube videos without problems on firefox developer edition 72.0b6, but my machine has an intel 620 integrated.
Can you test with Firefox Nightly release from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ to see if you have the same problem?

Nightly build runs without problems. I guess that resolves it.
