I am trying to open Oracle application R12

Actual results:

Pop window with a message "We are Sorry" "Firefox had a problem and crashed....

  1. Why are you using Firefox v51.0.1?
  2. Can you reproduce in the latest Release version, v71.0?

Hi, Oracle application works only in v51.0.1 for all my friends who have Mac OS. Let me try v71.0 and post the results.

Hi, I have checked with v71.0. This time it not crashing, and not opening Java forms. This is the primary reason we are using lower version.

Firstly, I have to let you know that Firefox 51 does not have support anymore and backward bug fixes will not be made. This considered, this bug is invalid and maybe a bug on the fact that java forms are not working should be logged.

Can you give us an example of a java form that does not work?

As a workaround, you could try whether it will work with the Extended Support Release version (the oldest supported version):

I will set this bug as INVALID. However, there may be another issue that may be logged, and that is the incorrect behavior of java forms.
If you provide a test page with a java form that does not work, I will continue to address the issue by logging a new bug.
