It would be desirable to optionally disable the pruning of old closed windows and/or tabs if the user does not want them to disappear in 2-4 weeks. Sometimes I have closed windows that I want to leave in my "Recently Closed Windows" list for long periods of time.
I've attached a simple diff that implements this.

I would suggest supporting sessionstore.cleanup.forget_closed_after = -1 as a special value to disable this behavior.
