User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:71.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/71.0

Steps to reproduce:

Clicked on... save image as...from drop down menu.

Actual results:

Image save screen comes up...no file type listed...click save....and it is saved as a tfif file.

Expected results:

Image save screen comes up.....the file type that the image was created in is shown...such as jpg or png ....then save it.

Hi,

Thanks for the details. I was able to reproduce the bug on Windows 10 on the following versions:

Release 71.0 (64-bit), and Nightly 73.0a1 (2019-12-16) (64-bit)

Images are saved a jfif not jpg/png (even if searching within google images ".jpg" files)

I've chosen a component. If you consider that there's another component that's more proper for this case you may change it.

I have downloaded IrfanView software and made it my default photo viewing program....it allows me to choose a file type...problem solved for me.
