Steps to reproduce:

Loaded youtube video in Firefox and bumped quality from 4k to 8k resolution. Hardware acceleration was forced in the Firefox options menu.

Actual results:

Youtube video (using vp9 codec, verified by stats for nerds info box) began to use CPU instead of being hardware accelerated and became stuttery and dropped the majority of frames in the video. This did not occur while cross checking with other browsers (Chrome, Edge) at the same resolutions and continued to be hardware accelerated.

Expected results:

Youtube video should have continued to be hardware accelerated as the video card supports native decode (GTX 950) and handled 4k with minimal strain with hardware acceleration forced on. Using latest NVIDIA drivers and latest Windows 10 update rollup.
