As alexarnaud reported on IRC, "mail fields has been broken under Linux in the last daily". "But indeed it breaks accessibility. Nothing is spoken by the screen reader from it"

Thanks for opening this bug.
Rob is helping me getting in contact with a mailing list of TB users using screen readers.
I'll test this with what I have and update the bug once I have more info.

A quick update to let you know that I got in contact with a group of visually impaired users in the Mozilla Groups mailing list and I shared the latest daily build.
Meanwhile, I'm gonna run some tests with a couple of screen readers on both Linux and macOS.
Is anyone available to test it on Window?

OK, it's better than I've told you in first place.
After upgrading Orca to master version most of the UI works.
Our main concern are:
- Keyboard navigation (bug 1603863, bug 1603526, bug 1603563, bug 1603728,
- Color contrast on the UI (bug 1601748)
- Labeling issues (need to be reported)
Best regards.

After all the bugs listed above, and bug 1613045 landed, I think we can close this and deal with further issues on dedicated bugs once we stumble upon them.
Thanks Alex for the feedback and help with testing the landed patches.

Mass-changing bugs around the new recipient area (pills) from product/component MailNews Core/Composition
to Thunderbird/Message Compose Window
, because composition frontend code is not shared with SM. Mostly cloned from Bug 440377 which started out in MailNews Core
long back.
