RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1604003

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:73.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/73.0

Steps to reproduce:

Nowadays many sites use CDN to serve their images.

e.g.:

facebook/Instagram -> fbcdn.net

For many months now, in some (not all) Nightly releases, the context menu "Copy Image" fails to copy the images.

There used to be an error message to the console in early days but now it fails silently.

If I recall correctly, it had something to do with permission and cross-domain protection.

Images that are present on any web page should not be subject to above restriction since they have already been loaded by the browser (if that is the reason).

Currently, if the same image is opened on its own, (i.e. in a new tab), then the context menu "Copy Image" works fine.

Seems duplication of bug 1604003.
