Reproducible: 100%

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open any page
    e.g, https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/2019/12/2019-12-11-09-46-40-mozilla-central/
  2. Right click on a link and Choose "Save Link As"
  3. Immediately after step 2, drag start a any link
  4. After Filepicker opened, release mouse dragging

Actual Results:
Browser hangs.
The filepicker also doesn't respond.
Must kill browser process

Expected Results:
no hang. the dragsession may be canceled.

Thanks for the details. I was able to reproduce on Windows 10, on Firefox Nightly version 73.0a1 (2019-12-12) (64-bit) and firefox 71.0. Browser seems as if it hanged, but actually by pressing ESC the dragsession is canceled and user may proceed.

I've chosen a component so that the issue is reviewed.
