Loading this page causes everything in the Windows UI to start blinking rapidly.
Drop down your bookmarks menu while this page is loaded to see it. Or, hover
over taskbar buttons to see flashing tooltips.

This doesn't happen in NN4 or IE6.

I am not seeing any ill effects with the applet running.

Mozilla 2002-07-31-08 trunk on Windows XP, 1.4.1 beta JDK.

Still see the problem with JRE2 1.4.0

Might be another graphics card dependent painting routine that Mozilla is using?
I only have a TNT2 Ultra because I don't do any gaming or anything that is
graphics intensive.

Seemed working fine for me with JRE 1.4.1beta on Windows XP.
Reporter, can you try JRE 1.4.1 beta (available on java.sun.com/j2se, just copy
the NPxxx.dll files, 6 of them, to plugins). See what happens.

1.4.1 seems to fix it. Just left with the annoying icon in the task tray, but
the applet runs ok.

I got the same problem and also have a TNT2. From what I read here and on

the problem only seems to occur with the following combination :
WinXP + TNT2 + Mozilla + JRE<1.4.1. (Upgrading to JRE 1.4.1 RC1 fixed the problem)
Many graphic applets trigger this behaviour, such as

I think we can consider this is a JRE bug (although it only shows up in Mozilla)
and close this bug as soon as JRE 1.4.1 is final...
