Steps to reproduce:

1. Start Firefox by clicking on the desktop icon
2. Press Cmd+T (or Ctrl+T for Windows users) to open a new Tab.
3. Paste https://www.google.com/ in address bar and press ENTER.
4. Then type anything (any text to search) in the search bar of the page and press ENTER.
5. Then, change search from All to Images.
6. Try to hover the cursor at the first 3 letters of the searched text.

Actual results:

Cursor remained same for the first 3 letters while changed for the later.

Expected results:

Cursor should have changed for all the letter including the first 3.

Are you talking about the text in the search box at the top of the google.com page? I don't see a cursor in your screenshot. Are you saying that it remains an arrow but it should change to an I-beam?

It was fixed in the next update and now changing properly after that.
