Details
To reproduce:
- wait for a Firefox Nightly update to be available
- visit a page that has an onbeforeunload prompt (i.e. "This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave"), eg. http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/demos/OnBeforeUnloadDemo1.htm
- open "About Nightly" (hamburger menu > Help > About Nightly)
- download the update if necessary, then click "Restart to update Nightly"
- the onbeforeunload prompt will appear. Select "Stay on Page"
- return to the About window
You'll see that the button was replaced by a spinner that says "Restarting...", however, it will spin indefinitely. It can be fixed by closing the About window and opening a new one, which will again show the "Restart to update Nightly" button.
