Steps to reproduce:

I'm trying to submit a crash report from about:crashes

Actual results:

Submit button changed to "Failed"

Expected results:

NA

hi, is this happening for all reports or just a particular entry?
(in order to test things you could enter about:crashparent or about:crashcontent into the firefox address bar and trigger an artificial crash)

Thanks for the details. I was able to reproduce on Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS on Firefox Nightly version 73.0a1 (2019-12-22) (64-bit).

When trying to click on submit, I also obtained "failed". If refreshing about:crashes page, then the report id is shown with the date submitted (so it ended up being submitted successfully). Also, if clicking directly on view, the report will also be submitted as if the submit button was pressed instead. Out of 5 times the submit button worked once. (I forced all of them with about:crashparent)

Just that one. Others work fine.

I think this one is different. Mine is still broken after the refresh.

I think I figured it out. I have Nightly and Stable installed. Somehow that unsubmitted crash from Nightly became visible from Stable. I've submitted it from Nightly and it disappeared from Stable.

Nightly uses a new format for crash reports (introduced in bug 1420363) which stable can't process correctly. We should not be displaying nightly crashes in stable (or viceversa) but that's a different issue and IIRC we should have a bug on file for that. Closing as WFM, thanks for the report.
