Attachment preview doesn't work anymore in 68.3.1

Since I updated to 68.3.1, the preview in separate tabs doesn't work anymore, the tabs are blank.
E.g.: From an email with an attached file (pdf, jpg, etc.) I click the "preview" eye icon, a new tab opens but it's just blank.
I have previously-opened tabs from before the update (that's my way to keep important documents at the front of my mind), the tabs are still there but blank as well.
Restarting in safe mode, the tabs are still there, but now with an error:
File not found
The file chrome://conversations/content/stub.xhtml?urls=imap-message:// (my personal email) @imap.gmail.com/INBOX#70357&scrollMode=1 cannot be found. > Please check the location and try again.

I've already fixed this in Conversations 2.15.16. I posted it a couple of days ago, but it is still pending review, probably because of the holidays.
The safe mode issue is because Thunderbird restores tabs, but Conversations has been disabled due to safe mode, so the content of the tabs can't be loaded
