1606384 - All addons were removed from my firefox and I did not remove them

Steps to reproduce:

When opening Firefox on my desktop computer all of the Firefox addons were removed. They remained active on my laptop until 30.12.2019 when they were removed from my Firefox.

Actual results:

Upon starting the Firefox app on my desktop, multiple tabs opened to say it was sad to see me go and showed an indication that addons had been removed. I had not removed any of the addons on any of 4 devices that use Firefox. I am unsure why or how this happened.

Expected results:

I am unable to recover any of the addons nor am I able to find a list of the addons that were removed.

Sorry that this happened to you. Could you please answer a couple of questions, like?

1. Are you using Sync?
2. Did you reset your Firefox Account password lately?
3. Do you remember by any chance if you came across this issue after updating Firefox?
4. Could you tell me at what point did you save the troubleshooting firefox information, before or after the addons disappearance?

To answer your questions:

   Yes
2. Did you reset your Firefox Account password lately?
   No
3. Do you remember by any chance if you came across this issue after updating Firefox?
   I updated Firefox on my LG Mobile and my Tablet but not the computers. I only updated to Firefox 71.0 (64-bit) on 1.Jan.2020 on my desktop. My laptop is 69.0.3. and will not upgrade this one as it the last version supported by my company's security protocol as of 1.Jan.2020.
4. Could you tell me at what point did you save the troubleshooting firefox
   information, before or after the addons disappearance?
   Sadly after. The report came from my desktop but it was before the update to 71.0

From what I see in the TroubleShooting_Firefox_Text.rtf file, at least some of the add-ons seem to be installed - part of them enabled, part disabled, not sure though why the add-ons are not visible to the user anymore. I'm going to assign a component to this issue so that someone with more knowledge in this area will take a look over.

I also don't see anything in the troubleshooting file that indicates any problem, extensions are listed and show as enabled.

Did you look in about:addons and see that there are no extensions listed?

Do you remember specifically what extensions opened a tab about being uninstalled?

Did you at any point change preferences for remembering history?
