Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:71.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/71.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a tab in private browsing
  2. Send tab to another device

Actual results:

Tab opens in regular browsing mode on the destination device

Expected results:

Tab opens in private browsing mode on the destination device

Alternatively, it would be great if the notification (Android specifically in my case) had an option to open the link in private browsing mode (regardless of whether the original tab was in private browsing), or at the very least only copy the link without opening it (it appears that currently the tabs are opened, then a notification is sent to switch to it: https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/rev/029d9d2477ef0232bb08db94696badddec4d5bda/browser/components/BrowserGlue.jsm#3484)

Sendtab uses push for a portion of their service, but we are not able to implement this feature request.
