When you open up multiple images into tabs, then try to save those images, the
right-click context menu does not show after you close tabs.
Test Rig: Linux 2.4.18, Xfree 4.2.0 via Slack 8.1, Enlightenment WM configured
for sloppy focus, Mozilla Build 2002060513
How to reproduce:
1. Go to URL (infact, any image URL including http://www.yerf.com can do).
2. Open up several images, one into each tab.
3. Open up the last tab, save the image via-right click window, and close the tab.
4. Right-click on the next image that shown in the tab. Doesn't work, huh?
Also tested with twm, so the WM isn't to blame, I can reproduce it with that.
Somehow, closing the tab looses the focus.
Workaround: Open another non-Mozilla window (like an xterm) and move the mouse
over it (resetting focus) before saving the image.
This may be related to some trouble Mozilla has with keyboard usage in both form
elements (hit space and it scrolls the webpage, cursor keys don't work, etc) and
the location bar. The workaround seems to "fix" those problems too.

I think I've run across the same problem with the mozilla 1.0 release version on
linux. Opening the javascript console seems to fix this problem. Also the
console shows these errors: searchStr has no properties
(chrome://communicator/content/nsContextMenu.js line:663), gContextMenu has no
properties (chrome://messenger/content/mailNavigatorOverlay.xul line: 97), and
gContextMenu has no properties
(chrome://editor/content/editerApplicationOverlay.js line: 42).

similar (but not same) here:
1.
go to http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/
2.
left-click apache_1.3.27.tar.gz.md5. "Save as" popup appears (BTW: why?), press
cancel
3.
right-click apache_1.3.27.tar.gz.md5, then "open in new tab". "Save as" popup
appears, press cancel. Close tab.
4.
right-click apache_1.3.27.tar.gz.md5 - nothing happens

Using linux nightly 2003011105. I tried to reproduce this both with yerf.com and
by loading Dr. Fun <http://www.ibiblio.org/Dave/Dr-Fun/latest.jpg> into several
browser tabs. No matter what I tried, the context menu appeared every time I
right-clicked on an image. I use KDE for my desktop set to focus the window
containing the mouse pointer.
Kelly, could you try this with a recent version of mozilla and see you're still
experiencing the same behavior?
