STR

  1. Go to Graphs view.
  2. Click on Add test data.
  3. Type tp6 into text input field.
  4. Change the default talos framework to raptor.

Expected:
All Raptor tests containing tp6 in their name should be displayed under the Tests header.

What we actually get:
Nothing.

There are no Talos tests containing tp6. So when we first type into the text input filter, nothing is displayed. But when changing to Raptor, the frontend should have re requested signatures from the backend, using the updated filters (framework, project, platform & text filter).

I've also attached a video with the same STR.

It works if you change to Raptor first, then type in tp6. Or if you follow your steps, then delete 'tp6' and retype it. So I'm guessing the search results has been reset any time a drop down action is performed but the input field isn't reflecting that.

That's what I believe also.

This bug is no longer valid. The filter is working as expected. I will mark this as INVALID.

However, we found that the default combination (framework, project, platform) (a valid combination with data) when opening the Add Test Data modal for the first time does not give any data.
