Download and install firefox in its version 72.0.1 (64 Bit) open about:config and you will see the lock icon in the option fission.autostart

Gingerbread Man is correct. If you want to test out Fission, you have to use Nightly Firefox. We're fixing broken things with Fission all of the time, so we want to make sure anybody who is trying it has the latest and best version of it.
