Seeing this error on Firefox:
The page isn’t redirecting properly
An error occurred during a connection to www.bigsoccer.com.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
I am not seeing this on Chromium.
I am attaching an about:networking log file when trying to access http://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/why-the-us-men-will-never-win-a-world-cup-by-beau-dure.2107537/page-14

I can see a lot of add-ons. As I can't reproduce with a clean profile and current Firefox Nightly and Release, can you please bisect the addons? It looks like one of them is causing it, because I don't see any prefs changed regarding cookies handling, specially first party isolation, in you about:config. Thanks for the detailed report!

Honza, FWIW, most of the add-ons are container related and they shouldn't do much of anything in private browsing mode (even though they were enabled).
In any case, I went ahead and disabled all of the add-ons, and I still saw the issue.
Also attaching a new about:support since I upgraded Firefox since I opened the bug.

I can't reproduce (73). Setting:
network.cookie.lifetimePolicy: 2
network.dns.disablePrefetch: true
network.http.speculative-parallel-limit: 0
network.predictor.enabled: false
network.prefetch-next: false
doesn't change it either. This could possibly be a geolocation problem. I can definitely see that in your log you are sending way less cookies than I do when loading the root (home) page, but it could well be because I simply accepted the default cookie settings on the web site.
Have you made any changes to the on-the-web cookies settings on the first visit?

I also strongly believe this is an issue on that web site, not in Firefox.

No changes to cookie settings on that site via the site or Firefox as far as I know. I primarily visit the site in private browsing mode as well.

Unfortunately, every time I see the issue, I am able to open it successfully on Chromium, so I think Postel's law should apply. :/

No soccer, so my family member hasn't seen this in a while and testing just now seems to work.
