User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:72.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/72.0

Steps to reproduce:

There is no possibility anymore to change lets say Timezone Europe/Paris to GMT/UTC when entering a new calendar entry. One only can pick Hour/Minute which correspondents to the actual timezone. What if one needs to add entries based on GMT/UTC? Workaround: Editing of calendarfile *.ics by hand, writing "Z" at last position of timestampentry.

Expected results:

This Bug is still open. When will it be possible to enter a time zone like Europe/Paris or GMT/UTC for an new appointment or change an existing one? Currently only LT is supported :-(

Can you be more specific what is not working? It works for me in Thunderbird 68.8.0. In the New Event window ensure that Options - Show Timezone is enabled. Than use the fields next to start/end date to change the timezone.

Flags: needinfo?(elan.weiss)

Thank you Stefan for coming back to that. When editing a give appointment or creating a new one there is no Options-Menu to choose
Show Timezones from at least for a german setup in my case (Thunderbird 68.8.0).

Flags: needinfo?(elan.weiss)

When using event tab instead of event window you need to add the Show Timezone button to the toolbar first. Right click toolbar and select customize, than drag and drop the button to the toolbar.

Danke Stefan, KUDOS it's working now. Thanks for your prompt reply and kind help!

Resolving as INVALID because it was no bug but a support issue.
