User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de-AT; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722
BuildID: 2002072204
If there is no space on my harddisk left, the mozilla-mail cannot store the
received mail and the mail is gone. So, the problem is, after receiving the mail
by pop, the mail will be deleted on the mail-server although the mail is not
stored locally on my Computer because of no space on disc. mozilla-mail should
only delete the mail on server after it has checked that the mail could really
be stored on my computer.
Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1.make your harddisk full
2.receive mail by pop
Actual Results:
- the mail will be received but not stored
- on restarting the mozilla-mail the message is forever gone
Expected Results:
- the mail should be deleted on pop-server after the mozilla-mail has checked
that the mail is really be stored on my computer

Right. I think the bug was 155281.
Reporter,
Are you using any filters to move the message to an inbox when you receive it?

sorry for the typo.
What I meant is, are you filtering messages to a local folder when you receive
it to your inbox?

Checked this on WinME on 2002-08-02-08 branch build. We showed a dialog warning
the user of low disk space. We do not download the message in that scenario.
However I have not checked this on the linux box.
I just got the same problem with 1.3 (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US;
rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312)
This is causing data loss, please could you increase the severity? It should be
at least "MAJOR" if not higher.
I would confirm, but I'm not allowed to :(

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
