In Mozilla 1.0, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP.
Decimal separator in fields, indicating action in progress by quantities such as
time elapsed (seconds), file downloaded (kilobytes), etc. appears as point, not
comma as defined in most locales.
it might relate to bug 140294.

I have noticed point as decimal separator in the following places:
Download Manager, column: Speed
View Page Info, tabs: General and Media, field: Size
File - Page Setup - Margins&Header/Footer
what a hack. I have not touch mozilla code for 2 years. I didn't read these bugs
for 2 years. And they are still there. Just close them as won't fix to clean up.

Just to check if something done to the localisation issues? I find this issue relevant in every message that includes numbers that aren't hardcoded.

How is it going with this bug?
The same problem was here - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=668756 .
and it also concerns SM.
Tenth anniversary coming for a stupid little bug, embarrassing Mozilla!
Almost twelve years from reporting this, and still no fix? Whats the current status? Not sure, if this haven't been fixed by time, as in the download manager I see commas in Czech Firefox.

In Firefox 31.0 fi-FI this if fixed. I'm not sure in which version it was fixed the first time, but the fix hasn't been in place for that many years. Maybe one?
Bug 597852 fixed this in download manager, but there may be other places that need to be fixed.

We now use Intl.NumberFormat from ECMA-402 for numbers and in Fluent
