Somebody mentioned in another bug that Apple recommends command+, as a Preferences shortcut. There also needs to be a Mozilla version of this bug.

I've never seen comma used for preferences. Semicolon is very common; k is somewhat less common.
Pinkerton said this is WONTFIX in the duplicate bug yesterday bacause right now most Apple apps don't shortcut prefs. If Apple starts implementing cmd-, in the Jaguar versions of their apps, this should be reopened (160776 should be reopened, preferably). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 160776 ***
