From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.2; Mac_PowerPC) BuildID: 2002072203 Sending to multiple recipients, or rather, multiple *types* of recipients, causes a crash. Try one To: and one Bcc:, or one Cc: and one Bcc:, etc.. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click on an email link to call up the compose window. 2. Have both a To: and a Cc: field 3. Click send. Actual Results: The application Mozilla has unexpectedly quit. Expected Results: Send mail without crashing. No attachments, no html composition, nothing but ASCII text to two recipients. Sorry that I don't have time to test/attempt reproduce bug. I lost a lot of work in that email composition, have to move to a more stable browser/mail client right now. (see ya next major build!)
can you generate a stack trace for this crash ? http://developer.apple.com/qa/qa2001/qa1057.html
WorksForMe using FizzillaCFM/2002080508. Robert, please do attach a crash report. Otherwise, there's not much that can be done about this. Can you still reproduce this problem using a current nightly? If so, can you reproduce this problem using a new Mozilla user profile?
I do not see a crash with this scenario using the 7-9 branch, 7-31 branch or the 8-6 branch builds on my mac G3 OSX 10.1 system. If you try the comments listed above and are still seeing the crash can you provide anymore details in the steps. (i.e. are you typing in the recipients, adding them via the Address Button, backspacing, using autocomplete?)
