User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0

Steps to reproduce:

  • Open Spotify web Playet
  • Cloudflare CDN provide A/B tests using JS

Actual results:

Errors:

JavaScript error: , line 0: uncaught exception: navigationTiming api not supported in this browser

Maybe from...

JavaScript warning: https://open.scdn.co/cdn/build/web-player.60f6a734.js, line 0: Successfully compiled asm.js code (total compilation time 1ms)

Expected results:

No errors and full support of that APIs.

Thanks!

Hi, I'm not sure how to reproduce this issue on our end , I'm not that familiar with JS or Navigation Timing but I will set a component for this issue and maybe one of our developers can take a look and they will know more about it.

In the mean time can you please try our latest Nightly build and verify if this issue occurs there as well ? you can find the build here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/

Thank you for the report.

It appears that something has change at Spotify's end and this error no longer appears. Can't know at this point what exactly Spotify did when the error appeared.
