User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:72.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/72.0

Steps to reproduce:

Using Windows 10 1903 Build 18362.592, Thunderbird 73.0b1 (32-bit)

  1. Make sure the system style is set to "Dark" (not sure if this affects it)
  2. Make sure the Thunderbird theme is set to "Default"
  3. Open the compose window by clicking on "Write"

Actual results:

The textboxes for From, To and Subject are coloured white on white, making them unreadable.

Expected results:

The textboxes for From, To and Subject should be coloured white on dark to blend in with the rest of the window.

Additional Information:

  • Thunderbirds "Dark" Theme does this correctly. (See image)
  • When hovered or focused, the textboxes are also coloured correctly.
